bodyCraft Traumapotential

Just as a physical wound heals with care, attention, and time, bodyCraft TraumaPotential offers a clear, compassionate path for healing the inner wounds of trauma—allowing us to return to a sense of wholeness that has always been within us.

Trauma leaves an imprint not only in the mind but also in the body, affecting how we move through life, connect with others, and perceive ourselves.

bodyCraft TraumaPotential, rooted in IoPT (Identity-Oriented Psychotrauma Therapy), provides a way to tend to these inner wounds, creating space for healing and rediscovering who we are beneath the limitations of past experiences.

What to Expect

  • Uncover and release hidden patterns that keep us feeling stuck.
  • Reconnect with our authentic self and break free from the effects of past trauma.
  • Experience deeper self-awareness, emotional freedom, and relational ease.

Approach

BodyCraft TraumaPotential uses IoPT’s Intention Method, where we set a clear intention based on what’s alive for you in the present moment (e.g., "I want to understand why I feel disconnected today").

By exploring and processing hidden parts of the psyche, much like tending to a physical wound, we create the space for healing.

The process gently reveals how unhealed trauma affects your identity, relationships, and overall well-being, guiding you toward a more integrated, authentic self.

Distinctive Elements

  • Trauma-Focused Healing:
This therapy focuses deeply on unresolved trauma, particularly from early childhood or relational experiences.

  • Reconnecting with Yourself:
The goal is to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been split off due to trauma, bringing these aspects back into alignment with your full potential.

  • Therapeutic Approach:
IoPT addresses psychological, emotional, and physical healing, resolving trauma at its core and restoring a sense of wholeness.

  • Relational Healing:
Trauma is relational, and so is healing. This method supports relational healing by exploring connections with others, allowing for profound personal and relational transformation.

bodyCraft Potential

At the heart of BodyCraft TraumaPotential is the understanding that trauma impacts both the mind and body. By weaving together the methods of Franz Ruppert’s IoPT and Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, this approach gently explores survival patterns and emotional blocks, helping us reconnect with the more authentic parts of (y)ourself.

Informed by Dan Siegel’s interpersonal neurobiology, Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, and Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, BodyCraft TraumaPotential provides practical tools to restore balance to our nervous system. This process moves us from a state of survival into one of presence, resilience, and clarity.

Healing is relational. Drawing from Circling Europe’s relational practices, BodyCraft TraumaPotential creates a safe space for us to explore and heal relational wounds, allowing us to move toward deeper, more authentic connections with others and ourself.
